Community Involvement

Karin is a devoted member of the Prestonwood Baptist Church. Karin also actively participates in or is a member of the following organizations:

Ex-A-Tec DFW  is an organization that strives to become a significant force in the business, political, and social communities in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area through the power of networking for the benefit of Monterrey Tec alumni living in this area.

Karin, will be the honorary chair at the 4th Annual Gold Tournanment for Ex-A-Tec DFW.

HELPS International is a nonprofit organization that provides enduring programs of practical, social and spiritual value to the people in the developing world through a system of partnership and mutual responsibility.

In 2009, Karin secured a $5000.00 grant from the Million Dollar Round Table Foundation on behalf of HELPS International. The MDRT Foundation grant will support a program of the organization.

Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce helps develop, promote and protect Hispanic businesses in the greater Dallas area and to support the advancement, education and economic growth of the Hispanic business community.

Helping Hands is an organization, which organizes mission groups comprised of approximately 25-45 participants, who volunteer their time, service, and medical supplies. Included in this group is the mission chaplain (priest) who accompanies the team for spiritual support.

The North Texas Hispanic Dental Association (NTHDA) is a national organization established in 1990. An association of Hispanic dentists, that strives to increase oral health awareness throughout the Hispanic population in North Texas in an effort to enhance lives and build a stronger, healthier society. The organization encourages Hispanics to take an interest in oral health careers, and provides tools and support to individuals already working with the Hispanic population. Karrin is currently on an Honorary Advisor on the NTHDA Board.

Bent Tree Country Club is an exclusive, private, member-owned country club located just east of the Dallas North Tollway between Keller Springs and Frankford Road.   Founded in 1972, Bent Tree Country Club has a rich tradition of great facilities and excellent dining and service, as well as special social,  golf and tennis events.
